Created by Yasmine Seijmonsbergen, Modified on Tue, 24 Jun at 12:51 PM by Larissa van Aarle

Are you providing services to clients abroad? Then you may need to apply reverse-charged VAT on your invoice. This is also important for your VAT report, as reverse-charged VAT must be reported differently than regular VAT.

How to create an invoice with reverse-charged VAT:

  1. Log in to your Gekko online account

  2. Click on "New" to create a new invoice

3) Select the client or project

4) Fill in the project details and check the box on the right that says "Reverse VAT"

5) You can now save, send, or schedule the invoice to be sent later
