My automatic connection is not working. Why not?

Since the introduction of PSD2, banks are required to make it possible for you to automatically share your transactions with your accounting software, such as Gekko. The only condition is that you actively consent to this. 

Every 180 days, you must give permission again to link your bank account to Gekko, unfortunately, this does not always happen automatically.


First, click the "Update transactions" button on the bank page of the Gekko website. It may take a few minutes for your transactions to load.


Are your transactions still not loading? Try re-adding your bank account to Gekko.

To do this, go to the bank page on the Gekko website.


Click the three dots next to the "Update transactions" button and select the "Add bank account" option.



Follow the steps to add your bank account again. Be careful not to remove your bank account.

After re-adding the bank account, the data should be refreshed.
